if i install a intake on my acura legend do i have to get a exhaust as well?

i have a 1991 acura legend ls 4dr with 152k on the engine and i got a intake for it but im worried if i have to a get a performance exhaust along with it? will putting it on do anything bad to the engine?

No. The intake has nothing to do with the exhaust.
