Here are some more information for Acura Nsx:

This article which I am writing now is about a newly launched automobile by Acura, the ACURA TL. My dear reader today is the time of modernization and there are several different automobile companies which are having a strong presence in the today's modern market. These include companies such as Honda, Mahindra, Tata, Acura, etc. All these companies are working very hard towards a goal of becoming a stable player in the market and building a brand name that is superior to everyone else's. The only way a company can achieve this objective is by launching a better product with certain new specialties so that it has the product line that can influence and win the praise of the consumers. This is a universal law that needs to be followed by the every business and businessman. Whenever a company feels that its position is going down in the market it launches a new product to revive its status. The attempt is always aimed at gaining popularity in the market.
Something about Acura:-
Acura is mainly a division of world's biggest automobile company i.e. Honda motor company. It was established for the purpose of representing the luxury vehicle segment of Honda motor company. The brand represents Honda motor company in parts of United Kingdom and United States of America accompanied by certain areas in Canada, Hong Kong and Singapore. The brand has gained a positive response from the market and has launched some very nice products such as the Acura TL, Acura RL, Acura TLX, etc.
Acura TL:-
Acura TL is a luxury car from the Acura brand of Honda motor company, which pertains to people of the middle income group. It was launched in the year 1996 and since then it has grown into a major brand. Recently it was also declared as the best selling car brand in United States of America and was ranked No.2 in the list of luxury cars after the BMW 3 Series.
This model has been redesigned several times in the past. It was given a stylish look and more specialties after the fourth generation of car was phased out and the current generation or the fifth generation was launched in the market.
The model present today contains a 3.5-liter, VTEC, V-6 engine that generates a power of 280 bhp. Apart from this it has an automatic transmission that is 5-speed with Sequential Sport Shift paddle shifters. It also features a Climate Control system that can be adjusted to have automatic, dual-zone functions that can be utilized to control humidity and to filter air. One more important feature is the cellular interface which in fact is a Bluetooth Hands Free Link wireless telephone interface. The customers also have an option regarding the wheels attached in the car; a customer can either opt for 17inch alloy wheels or 18inch alloy wheels. Its look is accompanied by leather trimmed sports seats.
And one of the most important things with respect to a modern car's interface is the musical interface and to fulfill this requirement the car has a 276-watt output stereo system along with a 6-disc changer, USB input, Audio Interface with iPod, XM Radio, Dolby Pro Logic II, auxiliary input and 8 speakers.
That's all for the specification section. Now the matter comes about the price. The present model or standard model of Acura TL is available for $35500 approx.
One can get the same model with 18 inch alloy wheels and technology pack for approximately $40000.

Coupe Likely to Join Acura Marque in 2010
The year 2010 will see Acura, the luxury vehicle division of Japanese automaker Honda Motor Company, adding another model to its luxury marque, as part of an effort to consolidate its image as a "tier 1 luxury brand." Acura competes with Lexus, BMW and Infiniti in the luxury vehicle segment. The Acura brand was first launched in 1986 in the US, Canada, and Hong Kong and has been dynamic in establishing Honda’s reputation for performance vehicles in the American market.
Dan Bonawitz, vice president for corporate planning and logistics at American Honda Motor Co said, "We will have an all-new vehicle”. The future cars will take on close rivals such as BMW and Mercedes. Acura's latest model since August 2006 is expected to join the ranks in 2010, before the launch of the redesigned NSX sports car, which is also due then.
Acura's product planning manager John Watts told Automotive News that, additions to the 2010 cars lineup would be in niche segments, such as a smaller coupe with a retractable top, or a four-seat sports coupe in the $50,000 sticker range.
News of an addition to Acura’s lineup has caused a buzz among Acura dealers, who are waiting for future Acura models to lead a recovery from dismal sales figures. There is a rumor that the 2011 Acura RL is also in the pipeline. At Acura dealerships through June, sales were down 14.8 percent to 90,742 units. Porsche 911 vs Acura NSX vs Lotus Elise?
Which is the cooler car? The nicer car? The better performer?
When I say the Porsche 911 I mean the 996 or current 997 version. All have acceleration to 60 around the mid 4s. The NSX arguably have the best handling, but is no longer produced.
Your opinion?
First - to clear up the misinformation here. Porsche cars are not made by VW (Porsche has purchased a good size of VW in recent years, but they are an independant company with some historical/family ties to VW's origins and management). The Elise is a small car, but has not performed poorly in crash tests (and as for it's ability to avoid an accident in the first place, it would score quite highly).
The best performer of the group would be the Porsche 997. While the Elise is more of a "pure" sports car, and can offer a more direct driving experience, the 997 is a newer design who's edge in power is ultimately going to be too much for the lighter and more nimble Elise to overcome. While the Elise may overcome some higher powered cars based on handling and braking, the 997 has no major weaknesses in this area for the Elise to exploit. The NSX is a great car - and one that has always gone better than it's numbers might indicate; but in this group, it would be a definite third behind the newer designs. While the NSX is well balanced and a good handling car, it's age shows, and it is not the best handling car of this group (it could actually be the least in the area). Though all three offer good performance and would be alot of fun to drive around a track.
As for the nicest? All three cars are well built and have good attention to detail. The 997 (or 996) would be the most practical of the cars, having back seat space (cargo space really, or seating for small children), with the Elise being the least practical. But if you are looking for a true sports car, the Elise is by far the best. The NSX is more middle of the road, not offering quite the comfort or convenience of the newer Porsche, nor the outright "everything for speed" attitude of the Elise.
As for cooler? Will all be in the eye of the beholder. All three have excellent credentials, and look good both at speed and standing still. They will all draw some admiring glances and are fun to drive. Which is the coolest is ultimately which one you feel the coolest in.
Dr. Johnny’s Car Clinic: The basics of EPS
In car language, EPS is the acronym for Electric Power Steering. It’s a relatively new feature that more and more vehicles will have in the coming years. The obvious questions are what is it exactly and how does it differ from the traditional hydraulic power steering?
