What is a good MTB fork?

I am looking for a good quality fork for a mtb. i wwant something light, disc brake only, air suspension, 32mm stanchions or larger, between 130-150mm travel. Preferably Fox. I am looking a the Fox Vanilla RCL right now. it has 140mm air sprung with adjustable everything for $490. how good is this and is there anything cheaper?
i do mainly XC riding but i dont limit it to only that. i also dont want to spend more than $500. i do plan to buy it online as my local shops dont carry anything dealing with suspension.
i no that the Vanilla RCL was quoted with a weight of 3.74lbs. Know anything lighter than that?

guess it depends on what kind of riding u do. Fox is overpriced in my opinion even though ive heard good things about the Vanilla. Ive done perfectly fine with R. Shox and i like Marzocchi as well. check out shops online there are some much better deals than 5 bills for a fork. lol. its meant to be fun not make u broke.
