In the twenty-five years of VW's Citi Golf it have been reinvented and redesigned more times than anyone can remember. But to date the new R-line is probably one of the most radical Citi yet. What do you think of the cls 55 amg? reliability?

I'm looking to buy one, but unsure if it will be too much of a hassel.
Hows the service, maintainance, tires, brakes costs etc. MPGs?
Any owner's take on this is appreciated.
i'm not concerned with the MPGs but rather curious, currently i'm driving a suv that does 16, so it wont be a huge transition.

if you are concerned about mpg's, then amg is not the right choice. cls in general are reliable cars. i don't have a cls 55amg, but a e55 amg currently. once you drive it, you won't want to drive anything else. any amg will cost you in upkeep more then a regular amg, just for the fact that everything in it is high performance. i'm not sure how different mpg';s are from my e55, but i;m guessing you will get around 16mpg for city, and 24-25 mpg highway.
like i said if you are looking for an economic car, any amg won't be the right choice. they are pretty reliable, but not economical.
