What is wrong with my van and how do I fix it?

I have a Ford Windstar Van. I went out to start my van. I put the key in the ignition and it would not turn. I turn the steering wheel to see if that would help but it didn't, it actually made it worse. The steering wheel locked up and so did the brake pedal. The theft light keeps flashing, though I have no alarm on my vehicle. Please help if you can.

With the steering wheel locked. Try to turn the steering wheel both ways and turning the ignition on at the same time!. This should unlock the ignition.
