Here are some more information for Brakes Good:

You've seen some great dune buggies on the beach lately, and you've decided that owning and driving a dune buggy looks great. So you want to build a dune buggy because you're good with your hands and want to save some money.
Before you do anything though, you need to know where you want to be driving your buggy, and what you need it to do. Basically there are 3 places that dune buggies are driven, and each requires a different build.
Firstly is the road. Yes you can drive a dune buggy on the road. But of course it needs to be street legal, and doesn't need many of the things that other dune buggies can have, like 4 wheel drive.
There are some very good fiberglass street legal buggies that look great, and these are usually based on a vw frame and body and built up from there.
Then there's the classic place for dune buggies, the dunes. Sand driving is probably about the most fun that you can have in a buggy, but it needs a buggy with specific characteristics. For example very light, with a good power to weight ratio. Huge sand tires on the rear, and small smooth tires on the front. Front brakes not necessary, but good quality rear brakes.
Then there's the off road buggy designed for the dirt. Steep hills perhaps, mud and trails. They need a stronger frame and roll cage because a rollover can be more severe, (ie hitting a tree for example), The tires are different, front brakes are much more important, and the frame needs to be stronger. The driving surface you'll be on will be rougher and will require better suspension, longer travel and mud and dirt tires.
So if you're intending to build your own dune buggy, then you need to work out your exact requirements first. Frame, motor, tires, suspension, brakes, roll cage, body, if you want one.
So is it hard to build your own buggY? Well of course that all depends on your level of skill. If you've spent a lifetime repairing cars, restoring cars and rebuilding cars, for example, then you might be well placed to build your own buggy. However if you haven't done much work with cars before then yes, building a dune buggy isn't easy. It takes skills, it takes money and it takes time, and be prepared for many hours of frustration.
My first recommendation if you thinking of building your own dune buggy for the first time? Buy a dune buggy kit or at the very least some high quality dune buggy plans to work from. Now a kit doesn't provide everything you need. You'll need to supply your own motor, for example, but it does supply you with some of the basics that are hard to build yourself. For example if you're wanting a figerglass buggy the fiberglass body isn't easy to make at home, so you can get a kit with a good body already supplied.
But my number one recommendation if you're thinking of building your own dune buggy for the first time? Don't. Not unless you're supremely confident in your own skills. It isn't easy, and usually takes way longer than you imagined it could, and costs more, and while you're slaving in the garage trying to build your buggy everyone else is out there on the dunes cutting it up.
There are some very good places where you can find yourself a great dune buggy for sale (or even a good dune buggy kit) at a very good price. Usually much cheaper than you could build one for yourself.
So grab yourself a second hand buggy, learn all you can about it first, learn all you can about building a dune buggy for yourself and, if you really want to, build your second buggy once you know what you're in for. At least you've got your first one there to drive when you get tired of building.

Brake Bleeder
What is Brake Bleeding?
"Brake bleeding is the procedure performed on hydraulic brake systems whereby the brake lines (the pipes and hoses containing the brake fluid) are purged of any air bubbles. This is necessary because, while the brake fluid is an incompressible liquid, air bubbles are compressible gas and their presence in the brake system greatly reduces the hydraulic pressure that can be developed within the system."
-Wikipedia, Brake Bleeding, July 2006
To purge the brake lines, and all pipes and hoses associated with those lines, on any hydraulic brake system, you'll need a good brake bleeder in order to get the job done. Brake bleeders can be used on most brake systems, including motorcycles. For brake lines to operate at their peak, and to be sure that every safety precaution has been taken, a good brake bleeder is a necessity. After all, you don't want any air bubbles in your brake lines.
Rarely a system will not even need a brake bleeder used on the brake lines, so familiarize yourself with the system you're working on and be sure that you need a brake bleeder prior to using one. Consult your owner's manual to be sure about what you're getting into before working on any brake system or engine.
Where to Find Brake Bleeders
Good brake bleeders can be found almost anywhere. Any automotive store should have some in stock, though mobile tool dealers will probably have the best selection of name brand brake bleeders. The largest selection of brake bleeders can be found online, available through the Internet for quick and easy purchase.
Be sure to do some shopping around when it comes to finding the best brake bleeder for you. Know your needs, know what you can spend, and know what's available out there. Familiarize yourself with pricing before you buy, because you don't want to buy the first brake bleeder you find and end up being sorry with your choice.
Once you start looking for brake bleeders, you'll be amazed at the selection that you find. Take your time in buying the right one, because when it comes to your brakes nothing is more important. Safety has to come first, even over budget.
How to Use Brake Bleeders
Any brake bleeder you plan to use should come with an informative, step-by-step manual for you to follow. Most companies will have web sites featuring online support, should you have questions not covered in the standard paperwork that comes with your brake bleeder. Be sure to follow the instructions carefully, ensuring proper use of your brake bleeder. After all, if you aren't using the brake bleeder properly then you aren't doing yourself any good, and you certainly aren't purging your brake lines the way you should be. Be careful when using your brake bleeder, and pay close attention to what you're doing.
Brake Bleeders
When it comes to anything mechanical, but especially something as important as brake lines, it's always best to consult a trained professional technician or service manual. If you are very unfamiliar with brake bleeders, you could actually do more harm than good in trying to purge your hydraulic brake lines on your own. Be sure you know what you are doing, or that you work with someone who does, when it comes to brake bleeders. You can never be too careful when it comes to brake safety, so be cautious when using a brake bleeder.

Are standard Chevy brakes good?
I recently went to the store and bought replacement front brake pads, looking at them, they seem small for a 1994 Chevy Silverado 1500. Are there any reasonably priced upgrades to get a bigger brake? Could you use any other setup from an older Chevy model to get bigger brakes? I don't do a lot of towing, but when I do, I would like it to be adequate.
Pads are the same size but you can get different grades. Standard semi-metallic, organic, and ceramic are available for most popular vehicles. High performance and racing pads are made also. Tirerack.com has information on the different ones.
They ride like a dream
Its navy frame gleams, its rims are brilliant red and its components are shiny and new. This bike has more than good looks, though.
