Here are some more information for Caliper Paint:

A properly functioning braking system can make the difference between life and death. A problem that seems very small such as a brake line that is rusty or a brake hose that has cracked can make it unsafe for one to drive a car as the brakes can fail without warning. It is therefore important for one to check the performance of the brakes regularly, especially if the car has been dormant for a while. There are many warning signs that can indicate a problem with the brake system. These include low levels of brake fluid, a very spongy or very hard brake pedal, dragging brakes, the pedal pulsates or goes very far down and brakes smell as though they are burning or make any noise such as squeaking, grinding and screeching. If the warning lights of the brake come on when driving, this should also be considered a warning.
Spongy or low brakes can be as a result of leaking brake fluid. To check for a leak in the brake fluid, one should locate the master cylinder of the brake; usually situated in the firewall vicinity behind the engine compartment. On locating it, one can then open it and check inside to determine the fluid level. The nuts connecting the brake booster and the master cylinder are loosened and the seal enclosing the push rod observed. Any brake fluid leak will obviously be noted. The caliper piston should also be checked for leaks and the brake hoses examined for cracks. A wet caliper may be a sign of a leak of the brake fluid. The master cylinder cap should be tight and one should check for any signs of leakage. One can also check for leakage of brake fluid by driving the car onto a sheet, a large cardboard piece or a blanket and tap the brakes hard, then repeat the process for a number of times. If brake fluid can be observed on the surface, then there is leakage.
Braking problems usually arise out of neglect and it is important to conduct a regular check up. The highest braking system performance is usually ensured by an optimal pad depth. Once a problem is noted, then it is time to for the braking pads to be changed. It is important for one to own a tool kit for the task. Most of the time, it is the front pads which are changed. Wearing of the brake pads can be observed by looking at them from outside the front tire. If the depth of the pad less than a quarter of an inch it should be replaced soon. If it is less than an eighth then the rotor is in danger of being damaged and the brake pad should be changed as soon as possible. Noises are also an indication of that the brake pads need to be changed. This is a fairly straightforward process. First of all, loosen the wheel lug nuts, and then jack the car off the ground. The lug nuts are then removed together with the wheel. The bolts are then removed while care is taken not to move the caliper. The pads are inside the caliper and if they seem worn out then change them. Note that It is important to always take your car to the mechanic for a regular check up.

Saab’s Super Suv to be Released in the US
Saab, producer of high quality Saab fuel filter and the Swedish-based subsidiary of General Motors will soon release its Super Saab SUV which is designed for petrol lovers in the third quarter of 2007 in US. The limited edition Aero performance version of the 9-7x is further enhanced with the addition of a 6.0 liter V8 engine and 20 inch wheels and tires.
Saab’s Super SUV is also easy to spot since it wears a unique paint that is distinctly its own---a charcoal metallic paint called the Carbon Flash Metallic. Another distinct feature of the 9-7x Aero are its 20 inch polished, aluminum wheels that wrapped with P255/50R20 V-speed-rated performance tires.
To accentuate the classy interior are Aero embroidered leather seats and embossed floor mats. At the core of the 9-7x Aero is the LS2 6.0 liter V8 with cold air induction package that revs up 295kW at 6,000 rpm and 542Nm of torque at 4000 rpm. This Super SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in under six seconds.
The LS2 6.0 liter is derived on the small-block V8 architecture and produces down-low torque for maximum performance. Torque is natural to the engine’s cam-in-block design with 101, 6mm-diameter bores and a 92mm stroke. Quick Response is attributed to the electronically controlled throttle.
One of the unique features of the engine of the 9-7x Aero’s version is its composite intake manifold which aid in producing balanced of torque and horsepower. The maximum towing capacity of the 9-7x Aero model is 2994kg. Its lower chassis is designed to provide a more responsive handling while its corner control and body roll control are further reinforced with front stabilizer bars that are almost 10 percent larger in diameter. For extra strength and stability a heavy-duty rear axle with limited slip differential is added.
A four-wheel disc braking system that is enhanced with larger 12.8-inch front disc rotors and iron-twin piston calipers put the brakes on the powerful 9-7x Aero. Likewise, stiff heavy-duty iron calipers that retain their shapes even under high-pressure/high-heat braking conditions helps to provide a more linear feel as well as lessen pedal travel especially in high-energy stops. The brake pads also employ high-performance linings to achieve a strong fade resistance.
All 9-7x models are to equipped with standard ABS, automatic all-wheel-drive, and the StabiliTrak electronic stability control system.
The StabiliTrak electronic stability control system is an active system that makes use of a Torsen center differential that splits the torque between the front and the rear wheels. It may also be considered as a torque-bias system that senses low traction at one axle and the channel more torque to the other when necessary.

How do i paint Calipers?
I have a 88 honda prelude, it has the stock wheels, and i want to paint the calipers, do i just use normal pains, and is it worth it. Will it look good
You take off the rims, and if you want to do it the right way you should take off the calipers completely. They have special caliper paint that you can buy at automotive stores.
However, I dont think it will look good on your car and I dont think it would be worth your time.
Custom 2010 Camaro launches RCR group
Unless, say, you're someone like Jack Roush or some other Metro Detroit automotive tuning specialist, the chances are your shop has neither the tools nor the skill set of Richard Childress Racing, which built the cars that carried Dale Earnhardt to six of his seven NASCAR championships and which continues to run at or near the front of the field.
