How much do ceramic braces cost?

I need braces as my front teeth overlap by about 2-3mm and its causing me pain. I get bullied a bit so I really don't want to draw any more attention to myself, so I wan't ceramic braces (just the clear ones like these http://www.henryorthodontics.com/images/mystique.jpg not those Invisalign ones)

I know this isn't a direct answer to your question, but I wanted ceramics too, but couldn't afford them. All I can say about having the conventional braces is no one cares after a week or so. At first I had quite a few comments (not all nice) but eventually people adapt to it and forget you ever used to *not* have them.

Almost certain you have to pay for ceramics, though. Honestly, get the nasty metal ones now before all of the orthodontists go private (it's happening soon, apparently) and you have to pay thousands just to get anything. A few years of bullying, if it happens at all, is better than a lifetime of comments from spiteful individuals.
