1964 Chevy Truck - The Best Of The Best
Even though there is a lot of competition to stand up against, the 1964 Chevy truck has always stood up even among peers. Now a fact worth mentioning here is that although a couple of other companies had their own models introduced in that very same time-frames, none of them managed to stand up to the level of excellence that Chevy built.
Even all these years past the year of its introduction, most people consider a 1964 Chevy to be a classic vintage vehicle, still glorious in this age of sleek shapes. However to better understand the truck; it is important we take a look at the story of how a thing of such excellence actually came into being.
The story that actually brought about the creation of the 1964 vintage classic first began in 1911 almost a hundred years from now. Louis Chevrolet and William Durant initially intended to bring up a brand that will successfully compete with the then only giant ford. Little did they know that their dream was destined to more than compete; outclass.
Not so long afterward however, general motors bought the brand name and initially began marketing the truck chassis. This streak went on for quite some time, till the 1930 to be exact, after which actual trucks were sold.
What most people agree upon is that the era between 1947 to the 1954 was truly the golden age for trucks. Many transitions were made into the field and quite a lot of designers and engineers were able to mold the generations of trucks to come into their dreams of durable quality trucks.
Coming to the present, people still consider the 1964 Chevy model to be a one of a kind creation, out of its time and highly durable. It truly was the epitome of design and capability in gut wrenching metal and was so good, that people even now opt for the make and model whenever they have the chance.
Besides the obvious, the 1964 Chevy is an extremely reliable product. A product that you can rely on to buy and remake if you are buying It to do a remake of it or to last you through all your happiness and sadness if you intent to buy a remake of the model.
Whichever way it is, whether you are looking for a junked up model to remake in your vision or a juiced up model, all ready for you to start pumping the gas, just make sure that you are buying a good deal, and you can surely forget all the worries of your truck falling out anyway in between.

New chevy trucks how do they switch from a v8 to a v6?
I can't remember what it's called or what chevy truck that has it, but they have made it so the truck starts out as a v8 to get up to power then turns off 2 cylinders to make it a v6 to cruise around. Can anyone tell me what it is to look it up or explain to me how it does it because it just really confuses me and I just like knowing how stuff works.
Booge 4 right on the money. It's so smooth you don't notice the switch and the fuel mileage is much improved I got 22.9 highway.
Lightweights come and go, but Chevy's burly Suburban - in its 75th year - is still truckin'
Four-dollar-a-gallon gas couldn't kill the Suburban.
