Here are some more information for Coils Air:

HVAC systems may seem like technology from another world in that most individuals do not have a halfway decent understanding of how these systems work. For the most part, the principles behind a heat pump are the same with a central air conditioner. Furnaces work a little differently.
One common setup is to have a heat pump. Depending upon the region and climate, a home may have a separate furnace and air conditioner instead. Having separate dedicated heating and cooling units are common in harsher colder climates such as Minnesota. Having just a traditional heat pump system would likely allow you to freeze while the heat pump continues to waste electricity trying achieve a warmer interior temperature.
Heat pumps are simply an exchanger or transferer of warm air. In summer time, the refrigerant in the interior coils absorb warm air from inside the home and transfers it to the coils in the outside condenser unit. After the heat dissipates from the warmed refrigerant, the now cooled refrigerant travels back to the interior coils to absorb more interior heat. What is left inside the home is cooler air. The advantage of a heat pump is that it is able to reverse this process without burning fuel, translating to fewer energy costs. A heat pump works best in moderate temperature climates. In a little harsher climate and region, some heat pumps are outfitted with auxiliary heating which is in essence a screen of wires in which current passes through thereby generating heat much like a kitchen toaster. A fan then blows this additional warmer air into the home's interior.
There are newer heat pumps on the market that are designed for heating in near zero temperatures, but are not as common and are more costly. These newer heat pumps called Cold Climate heat pumps and All Climate heat pumps perform better in colder climates than traditional heat pumps, but can lack sufficient ability to comfortably cool a home's interior in summer time.
In colder regions such as Minnesota, furnaces are still a necessity and are one of the more affordably efficient means to heat a home in the winter months. A traditional furnace coupled with a traditional heat pump would be much more efficient combination than that of having a central air conditioning system.

Fuel Efficient Noiseless Air Split Conditioners
To understand air split conditioners it is necessary to first understand the basics of air-conditioning and why we require it. When temperatures soar it becomes necessary to tamper with the excesses of Nature and tame the climate. This work is done by conditioning the air around the house or room.
Air conditioners come in many sizes having different cooling capacities. The price accordingly varies. Apart from the common window air conditioner there are also air split conditioners but the basic principles of operation are generally the same.
The air split conditioner is a refrigerator sans the insulation box. The evaporation mechanism of refrigerant (Freon) is used for the cooling purpose. Freon is a term that is `used for any of various nonflammable fluorocarbons uses as refrigerants and as propellants for aerosols.`
The cool Freon gas is compressed by the compressor and it becomes hot. The heated gas passes through a number of coils and condenses to become liquid. This liquid now goes through a valve that can expand and contract. It evaporates and becomes cold Freon gas under low pressure. This cold gas passes again through another set of coils that allows for the gas to absorb the heat. In the process the air inside the building is cooled. Lightweight oil is mixed with Freon gas to lubricate the compressor.
The air split conditioner splits the heated side from the cold side. The expansive valve and cold coils are in the cold side. These are kept in a furnace or any other type of cold handler. This air handler allows air to be blown through the coils and channels the air through the building via ducts. The hot side is referred to as the condensing unit and is kept outside the building. The unit looks like a long cylinder. There is a fan inside the coil to propel the air along the coil. In this task a compressor that is resistant to weather and some control mechanisms are also used.
This new technology of air split conditioner has developed lately and is popular because it brings down the cost as well as the noise. However noise outside the building gets increased. The name is given because the hot and cold sides have been split apart enabling for larger capacity. Bigger sized coils and compressors can now be accommodated. Apart from this there is no real difference between an ordinary air conditioner and an air split conditioner. This system is not suitable for big buildings and multi storied units. Problems arise.
The new models of air split conditioner having built-in heater allows for controlling the room climate in an area below 400 square in a jiffy. It comes with a refrigerant and comprises the line-set that links the indoor and outdoor parts. This makes for easy installation. An added facility is the remote control having full functions and an air filter screen that is washable. The size is compact, there is little or no noise and it is fuel efficient. The main compressor is placed outdoors and thus the only indoor part is mounted on the wall. This distributes the cool air.
The energy consumption of air split conditioners is less than portable air conditioners and is just right for small areas. It will not draw upon extra electricity. The calculated cooling power consumption is 770 watts and heating power consumption is 730 watts. The total net weight is 11l lbs and gross weight 123 lbs. The manufacturer backs the purchase with a year`s warrantee. It can be installed straight out of the box without hassle.

Central Air Condition Coils?
Like most people said that if your AC works but does not bring cold air it's most likely going to be your filter or your coils. But where is the coils for the inside doors? what does it look like? So where can I find it? ( an image would be nice)
thank you
The coils look like a grill of sorts ,it is located inside of your unit usually on the bottom but sometimes on top . Look for your drip pan its always above that. Your coils should be clean, and straight ,if you find it and its neither use a coil cleaner usually found at any hardware store,if there crooked, and or bent up , get a fin comb from a HVAC supply store this will straigten them up easily.
Most of the time the coils are located right behind your filter.
