When the air is cold, the sensor directs more vacuum to the air cleaner vacuum motor). This limits emissions and improves cold-engine performance; the engine control computer receives the signal from the sensor and adjusts the injector pulse width and fuel mixture.

Transmission Control Module (TCU) is another important part that control the shifting points of an automatic transmission based on inputs from various other sensors on the vehicle. A TCU generally uses sensors from the vehicle as well as data provided by the Engine Control Unit to calculate how and when to change gears in the vehicle for optimum performance, fuel economy and shift quality.

Now let's first cover a little architecture for DNN. The following diagram is taken from the DotNetNuke documentation. This provides a look into how DNN is architected. The interface then communicates with the Business Logic Layer (BLL), as in the diagram this BLL is contained with the SurveyDB.vb class, and provides all data for our user interface. Below the BLL we have the Abstract Data Provider, we'll get more into this later, but this class provides an abstraction layer for our application. This provider is not database specific; rather our data provider class will provide methods that override the abstraction class and interaction with our specific database. The abstraction provider in this example is the DataProvider.vb class within the main survey module project. What is the integrated control module in a car?

I have a 1994 Mercury Sable and it has been overheating. I took it to Tuffy and they said it looks like the integrated control module or relay module has gone bad.

He didn't charge me anything to check out the car because my car is so old his software isn't compatible. I am quite mechanically minded and car-literate, but I have never heard of this part and I can't find anything about it online. From my understanding it regulates the fuel pump, cooling fan, and a few other things.

I checked also and could not find the term either. From experience, the fuel pump is controlled by the ECM / PCM in some cars. ECM stands for electronic control module. PCM stands for Power Control Module.
