Most surprising, one of the most expensive tiaras to date was not made for a member of the royal family. It was not even made for a person. In Thailand, a young designer named Riwin Jirapolsek created a tiara worth $4.2 million in diamonds for his dog. The designer during an interview indicated that he wanted to make his Maltese feel special, which was already aged 15 years at the time the tiara was made.
