Do the Japanese Manga Artists use Drawing Tablets or do they go Oldschool?

And by old school I mean draw by pencil, rough draft, clean up, lines, then ink? Then scan then edit? Holy crap they must sweat bullets. Or those fancy tablets that can connect to comp. and actually draw on a screen? All those famous mangaka... masashi kishimoto, tite kubo, and all them others? What da hell do they use?

I would say the tablets. Many artists use tablets, including comic artists. However, maybe a long time ago, they used to draw 'Old School' by hand if tablets weren't created (For example, drawing cartoons). Drawing tablets are may more accessible to modern creators.

However, using drawing tablets may be as hard as the "Old School" way. They still have to sketch, ink and color in EVERY page, just as they had done the traditional way.
