Check the alignment by taking your hand off the wheel when it's safe, to see if the car pulls in one direction. Try a couple different type of roads, smooth and rough, to make sure it doesn't need a front end alignment.

Firebird gauges go down when I hit the brakes.?

I have 1994 Firebird 3.4l v6. Everytime I hit the brakes the volt meter and oil gauge drop. Any help?

Check for vacuum leaks. Also just in case, have the alternator checked, which would actually have nothing to do with the oil pressure, but could be a part of the problem.
