How would changing the solenoid in a 1987 ford Ranger cause no power?

I changed out the solenoid in my 1987 Ford Ranger, now I have no power at all. The battery shows as having full power when i check it. What could have happened. All the fuses seem to be fine as well.

You either didn't hook the fusible links back up or have them on the wrong side of the solenoid
