Here are some more information for Hydraulic Brake:

The brake fluid in your car is obviously a critical component of the brake system. Did you know it can go bad? Well, it can. When it does, it can lead to much brakes or even a complete failure of your brakes. That's just about the last thing you want to deal with.
The brake system on your car is designed to use hydraulic fluids. By creating pressure with these fluids, the pivotal parts of the brake system will engage and release as required. The system is activated by pressing the brake pedal, but the real magic happens at the master cylinder where two pistons are used to move brake fluid. This fluid might just seem like any old substance, but it is not.
Brake fluid comes in many brands, but all are basically glycol-based. This fluid is unique in a couple of ways. First, it is toxic to humans so try to avoid getting it in your mouth. Second, the fluid breaks down when in contact with water. Water? Yes. The contact is usually in the context of moisture in the air. This can occur when the top is left off the reservoir for the master cylinder, the bottle of brake fluid you are using or a leak somewhere in the system.
Ah, who cares about a bit of moisture? Well, you should. The moisture in the brake fluid will reduce the boiling point. Sooner or later, this number will drop to the point where the heat generated in the engine compartment and, more importantly, the brakes will cause the hydraulic fluid to boil. Once it boils, it will lose pressure and your brakes will not engage. Your only hope will be to slam the car down through the gears and hope the parking brake is working independently of the hydraulic system if you want to stop!
Brake fluid is one of those maintenance steps you want to slavishly adhere to. Generally, it should be replaced every two years, but make sure to take a look at your owner's manual for specific recommendations for your car or truck.

Hydraulic Cylinders For Car Safety And Comfortable Riding
The hydraulic cylinders are known for the great power delivered by them. The enormous power that can be obtained with the help of the hydraulic cylinders have made them integral parts of all kinds of heavy equipments and heavy vehicles such as the bulldozers, forklifts, excavators etc . Unlike the olden days when the hydraulic cylinders were only used in applications like heavy equipments and manufacturing industries, today, they have found their place in conventional domestic applications such as the regular automotive parts, door stoppers, elevators etc. In fact the implementation of the concept of hydraulic cylinders in domestic applications has added great convenience and safety to our lives. When it comes to hydraulic cylinder applications in domestic applications, the conventional car parts are the best examples.
Hydraulic Brakes For Extra Safety
The hydraulic brakes present in the conventional cars are excellent examples for the application of hydraulic cylinders for domestic purposes. The hydraulic brakes work on the principle of piston driven hydraulic cylinders. The main advantage of the hydraulic brakes is that they multiply the force applied to the brake pedal which results in very efficient braking. Though there are some critics which claim that the hydraulic brakes have the risk of oil leak, the modern technologies have found a solution to eliminate the problem. Instead of using one piston driven slave cylinder, today’s modern cars make use of two slave cylinders. As a result, even if one of the hydraulic cylinders that controls the brake fails, the other one will work. The ensures double safety in the modern cars.
The Hydraulic Suspension For Extra Comfort
Car modification is a hobby for many people. For some others it is just adding extra comfort. In both cases the hydraulic suspension is one of the great additions to look for. You will be well aware of the fact that only a few domestic vehicles such as the SUVs will be equipped with the hydraulic suspension from the factory. The main advantage of the hydraulic suspension is that it provides individual damping for all the four wheels and thereby offering great comfort even on the most rugged terrains. To the added advantage all the four hydraulic suspensions can be controlled individuality with the flick of a button. There is nothing to worry if your car is not pre equipped with hydraulic suspension. There are universal hydraulic suspension kits that can be attached to any car.
Apart from the above mentioned parts, there are many other car parts where the hydraulic cylinders are used. Without doubt the hydraulic cylinders have added great safety and comfort to our lives.

2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Follow up brake question. Is there a test for ABS ECU and Hydraulic Control Unit?
I am getting NO self check failures. Brakes work "ok". New Master installed and bled correctly, including all calipers. Intermittent issue with brake pedal getting spongy and goes very low towards floor. Pumps back up and stays fine till occurs again.
You still might have air in the brake line.
