Talking while driving usually does not cause a problem. However, when you talk while you are driving, you are naturally distracted by the conversation that is going on. Therefore, you should always make sure that your eyes are focused on the road ahead of you. This means making sure that all of your electronic devices are turned off and that both of your hands are on the wheel. In some states, representatives are trying to voice their opinion on having laws passed that would prohibit talking on a cell phone entirely.

Driving and talking on the phone is serious for a number of reasons. For starters, when you are driving and talking on the phone, you are not able to really aim your attention at the road. It turns out that she wasn't paying attention, and the light had turned green for her to proceed. This happened two more times before both my brother and I declared out loud that my mother was incapable of driving and talking at the same time.

If you've ever received a phone call that was upsetting or have gotten into a verbal dispute with someone while in the car, then you know how distracting it can be to have to focus on changing lanes as you are yelling over your shoulder or being yelled at. This isn't to say that while you are driving, you shouldn't be allowed to talk at all. Instead, this simply means that you should be more aware of how you react when you are engaged in a conversation with someone else. What are you thinking about during that conversation? Do you find yourself daydreaming? If you know that you are prone to not paying attention while you are driving, then you should abstain from speaking on the phone. If there is someone in your car with you, keep the conversation friendly yet emotionally detached. Remind yourself of where your priorities (in that moment) lie.

For some people, refocusing on the road is as simple as turning their cell phone to 'silent' before stepping foot in their cars while for others, it takes less. The key is to find a balance. You don't want to chauffeur people around in your car and tell them before hand that they will not be allowed to speak at all. However, you don't want to wind up in the middle of a heated argument with three other people in your vehicle either.

Volkswagen of America, Inc. has recently announced that their thirteen-millionth retail sales delivery will happen sometime in the middle of January this year. Volkswagen will provide its thirteen-millionth owner together with the authorized Volkswagen dealer a special recognition as its way of celebrating another sales milestone it has achieved.

It was in the year 1949 when Volkswagen has started its US sales volume began with only two retail deliveries. By the year 1960, Volkswagen has become a familiar sight on US roads and highways resulting to an over 100,000 units of VW vehicles sold annually.

How do I open the gas door on my 1971 convertible Karmann Ghia?

I received this answer for a previous question, "I think you push on the edge where you see the cutout and it flips open. I used to have one I'm just not remembering exactly", but there is no cutout in the gas door of my convertible. I am thinking it might be because I didn't put "convertible" in the first question.

Actually it is proper to put a question about a Ghia under Porsche, especially '70 ad 71, most of the parts of the cars are Porsche parts insides the cars, so they may be VW's on the outside,but they are Porsche's on the inside. I have 2 Porsches and on Ghia, so I know.
