Imagine Wireless Art Lighting on the Fly, Plus No Plugs with Battery Picture Light
A battery picture light is like a first aid kit – fabulously useful when needed. There might be a party occasion when you really don’t want any wires showing but want to highlight your artwork. We have even seen caterer tents equipped with elegant paintings and picture lights to heighten the event’s elegance. Artists who travel to show their art may need more than one art light, maybe a few in different finishes to complement different frames. You might need a picture light for an outdoor event, street fair (like the multi-day event every summer in Nyack, NY) or craft show.
Like many fields of the lighting picture light industry, battery powered picture lights are undergoing a number of re-inventions so you can illuminate your art on the fly, with no plugs and no wires yet with unexpectedly sophisticated design and performance. Some are more energy efficient than others. One benefit of the ABF14-71, House of Troy's 14" Antique Brass battery picture light is its superior Energy efficiency. Because the bulb is fluorescent and draws only 5 watts battery life is superb – more than 65 hours of continuous art lighting is possible with this style.
Concept's Cordless Picture Light is a state of the art art lighting. This cordless battery picture lite is specifically designed to produce warm rendition of colors in the artwork with a warm white UV safe light from a long thin fluorescent T5 bulb. Available in polished or antique brass and satin nickel finishes for the artist who paints in every finish.
In addition there is an LED picture light available as a battery picture light. LED technology uses even less battery juice than fluorescent, if you can believe it. LED Light Bulbs are actually “arrays” of light-emitting diodes. The advantages of LED arrays are legend: LED light bulbs last upwards of 50,000 hours, consuming very little electricity. Shatterproof, they run cool to the touch, and contain no mercury or hazardous substances. What's not to like? Once again, www.perfectpicturelighting.com will be the first retailer with this in stock, it is not yet available.
An LED picture light has another unique quality – this is an art light that glows without the spill-over lighting seen in incandescent or even fluorescent lighting. LED light in a a darkened room is qualitatively different than incandescent. The art light paints the picture alone with light, it’s glow is specifically isolated to the canvas itself.
In the world of lighting picture light fixtures are uniquely positioned for creating intimate islands of light beneath the beneficent glow of a painted image. Many restaurants are artistically staged with picture lights at each booth or table. The art they illuminate is stately in itself, the candle on the table flickers and the additional aura of the picture light encapsulates the diners in privacy and light delimited social coziness. Why not find places in your home where a picture light could serve the same function?

Which products are best to use to highlight medium brown hair?
I have been doing my own hair for 8 years. I have finally found a product that helps keep the red tones low. I get the red tones close to the top & near the roots. The rest of my hair lightens fine and turns out a great color. But I want to go shades lighter than I have been for change. I am afraid that I will end up with brassy tones and an ugly brass blonde color. I have been using the Loreal lightner for brown hair, then using a highlighter kit by Loreal. I get compliments from people I don't even know, but I am tired of this color. I don't like to go to salons because they like to do my hair "their way", which has been a nightmare everytime.I have never been able to get what I wanted until I learned to do it myself.
Where exactly are u located? I am a stylist and u have been very lucky u havent ruined your hair! Store bought colors, and hair products are very damanging. the reson why ur not getting the color u want /see on box is, box color cant look at ur hair and determine what needs to be done to get u 2 ur desired color. Ur getting the red and brassy shades bc ur hair has red tones in it, u may not think so but that is why u get the brassy color. also when lighting hair it goes thru the color wheel, meaning it goes in steps, and if u dont have the right product mixed it wont pull out the brassy shades, (orange, yellow, gold). I would have to see ur hair to be right abt what needs to be done, but a ash base helps get the red tones out. I would go to a salon, i dont mean a high class salon, there are many girls at Best Cuts, Famous Hair the lower priced salons that are just as good if not better then the high class girls. From the second u walk in the door, if u dont feel comfortable there, walk out. The stylist examine her ,ask questions make sure she knows what shes talking abt. if she seems shaky, iffy, unsure abt what u a have asked her get up and leave. U want a stylist thats confident and can explain things 2 u. Ask the same question 2 her, make sure u tell her what boxed haircolor u have been using, and exactly what color u want to get 2, she should bring out the color book, to show u colors and get an idea of what u want. I have done many pple that havent been 2 a hair salon in many years, i talk 2 them ask questions abt there hair and so on... first things they say nobody else has done that, at the end they love me and im there stylist now. From the get go, observe, u make sure u feel confrontable w her and u wont have problems. Talk to ur friends, family find out where they go, u will find a girl that does what U want, not what THEY want. If u have more questions email me and ill help as much as i can, I promise, maybe ur in my area. My email nikki_1nonly@yahoo.com! Thats if u understand what im sayin and have more questions or wanna chat more
