Having your transmission replaced is unpleasant and very expensive, yet many people overlook basic maintenance for this vital part of their automobile. A transmission flush will keep your transmission working correctly and will save you money on costly repairs and replacements.
Over time, the fluid in your transmission will become contaminated with dirt and debris. A flush will clear out these contaminants, and then your transmission can be refilled with clean fluid. It is possible to drain transmission fluid at home without a flush, but this will usually leave behind a large amount of fluid in the cooling lines and torque converter. A transmission flush is necessary for a thorough cleaning and replacement of your transmission fluid.
Some car owners postpone having their transmission flushed because they believe that it will be too expensive. On the contrary, replacing your transmission fluid generally costs about $100. Replacing the transmission, on the other hand, typically costs thousands of dollars.
Transmission fluid does not need to be changed very often, but the fluid levels should still be checked regularly to be sure that there are no problems. Running your car on low levels of fluid can cause your vehicle to have problems shifting and can also damage the transmission. Check your transmission fluid regularly to make sure that the fluid level is between the two hatch marks. Also check the color. Transmission fluid should be a bright red. If it starts to look brown, it is time to have the fluid changed.
One Atlanta Auto Repair specialist describes the transmission as the "life of the engine," and he recommends that drivers have their transmission flushed every thirty to sixty thousand miles. It is an investment which can ultimately save you a great deal of trouble and money on repairs.

I have had my intake taken off and put back along with other fuel lines etc to get to starter now car misses?
and yes i did change all intake seals and seems like raw gas might be coming out the tailpipe a little.
any ideas what may be wrong the car is a 1992 BMW 325i ran fine before it was taken apart.
check all your plugs and wires. or the intake was not put back on properly and you have a vacuum leak. but if your car feels like its missing like that then you might have a misfiring cylinder. start with your plugs, wires and coils, and go from there.
