Here are some more information for Master Disc:

CD Duplication is the process of writing information, or data, directly onto an optical disc, such as a CD or DVD, from a computer or other similar device. This processed is mainly used by home users on a PC or for low volume disc production, with higher volume optical disc copying usually performed by first creating a 'master disc' from which all the other discs are created. This process of using a master disc is referred to as CD Replication.
The Duplication process takes two phases. Firstly, the data to be written onto the disc must be arranged and formatted by the software in the correct way so that the device that will be used to read the finished disc can understand it. This is called an 'optical disc image', where all the information to go onto the disc is collected and arranged in one place, with a table of contents (TOC) produced to inform any reading device where to find the information once stored on the disc. This is like creating a directory or a playlist.
Once the optical disc image is created, the image is then written onto a blank CD or DVD, duplicating the image. This process is often called 'burning' or 'optical disc authoring'. This is done using a laser or electromagnetic waves, however there are two different types of burning, one for permanent, read only discs, and another for re-writable discs. For read only discs, the laser is used to change the reflective properties of an 'organic dye' on the disc. The differences in the reflections of the disc can then be read by device using the disc. Re-writable discs do not have this dye, but instead have a crystalline metal alloy on the surface of the disc that can be melted by a laser to change its shape. The different shapes that are produced on the alloy create the differences in reflection required to tell the reading device what the data is. These alloys can be reshaped several times to create different reflection patterns, and are therefore 're-writable' whereas the organic dye cannot be re-moulded.
For each of these Duplication methods, a different device is required not only to carry out the writing of the disc but also to read them. This is because the re-writable discs do not have as great a differentiation between the variations in reflectivity produced from the disc as the organic dye discs. The organic dye discs also have a higher quality of recording as a result, although with the reduced flexibility. However, most recording drivers on computers today contain devices that can read both types of disc.
As well as different types of optical discs, there are now many different types of data format that can be used on a CD or DVD depending on the required function of the data. Formats include audio, video, CD-ROM, MP3, high definition (HD) blu-ray and more. To duplicate an optical disc in each of these formats will require a specific type of software and/or hardware, and although today's computers are now able to Duplicate many of the different types of format as standard, some formats will require specialist equipment. Next to the volume size and quality of recording, this is often the next reason why companies will use specialist CD and DVD Duplication Companies to Duplicate the optical discs they need, as the equipment they have are not able to create discs in the required format.
There are also different requirements for Duplicating CDs and DVDs. For example, CDs use a different file system to DVDs, with CDs in most cases using the standard ISO9660 file system, known as the Compact Disk File System (CDFS) while DVDs use the 'Universal Disk Format' (UDF) file system.

Disc Publishing Vs. Disc Duplication
When most people think of making large quantities of discs, they think of the term ‘disc duplication'. Disc duplication can be defined as recording large quantities of identical CD, DVD or Blu-ray discs from one master disc. There are many products on the market that can perform disc duplication, and it is quite likely you have the ability to duplicate a disc with the computer you are currently using. Disc duplication provides an effective and efficient solution for the basic need to distribute a large amount of the same information.
But what if you need to distribute a large amount of diverse information? For instance, your company may want to supply marketing material to a wide array of clients, including a personalized message on the disc to eachrecipient. Perhaps, you need to supply class materials to students, and you want to embed a unique code in the disc content that tracks which students completed the material. This is where disc publishing can provide the solution.
Disc publishing can be defined as making large quantities of unique CD, DVD or Blu-ray discs. Disc publishing is a more robust form of disc duplication, allowing you to do more than simply make several copies of the same content. Disc publishing allows you to customize each individual disc, opening up a world of possibilities for your CD, DVD or Blu-ray projects.
This white paper highlights the main customization features of disc publication.
Introduction
Disc publishing's customization features offer distinct advantages over traditional disc duplication technology. Customization can be achieved in two distinct ways:
- On the disc surface
- In the content of the disc
Customization of the disc surface
The visible surface of each disc in a project can be customized with personalized information or artwork. Even if the content on all the discs is the same, each disc can be visibly distinct from the next in the batch. What is the benefit of customizing the disc surface? It saves you, the publisher, time and resources. Rather than creating individual label files for every disc, the features behind disc publishing enable you to automate unique label creation. When you use these features, which are similar to the common mail merge, you only need to create and design the label once. Automation ensures that the distinct information is included on each label. Unique label information may include:
- Recipients' names and addresses for mailed discs
- Thumbnails of the digital photos included on the CD
- Barcodes with serial numbers
These are just a few examples. The possibilities for disc surface customization with disc publishing are unlimited.
Customization of the disc content
The content recorded to a disc can be customized, allowing you to create numerous discs with distinctive content at the same time. Rather than manually creating multiple data sets for a number of discs, automation allows this task to be done in batches. As with disc surface customization, you only need to set the parameters for the disc project once. After that, automation takes over, giving you more time and energy to focus on the fundamental tasks of your business. Here are just a few examples of what you can do when you use disc publishing to customize the content of your CD, DVD or Blu-ray discs:
- Back up folders on a network location to a set of discs, making sure that each user's folder is backed up to his or her own disc
- Archive video content from a shoot, clearly listing each disc's content on the label
- Record financial reports for individual accounts, ensuring each individual only receives the data from his or her account
Whatever your content distribution needs may be, disc publishing can help.
Disc publishing has numerous advantages. Most importantly, it allows you to distinguish the external and internal content of your discs swiftly and easily. The customization features behind disc publishing not only allow you to store your data cleanly and systematically, they also ensure that you can distribute information in a convenient and unique package. No matter which industry you are in, disc publishing lets your professional disc projects go the extra mile.

Do I need a high pressure master cylinder if I changed my 73 Nova from drum to disc brakes?
I changed front & rear brakes from drum to disc on my 73 Nova. After bleeding the brakes, the petal is still soft. Master cylinder is a stock non power unit.
To add to what Dave said, there may be a distribution block, but also make sure the proportioning valve is for disc brakes or the car will never stop right. Also make sure you have bench bled the new master cylinder.
