A Quieter Confidence-inspired Range Rover

Land Rover is claiming that the latest Range Rover is made quieter than its forerunner. The 2007 model was also given sharper Rover Range Rover steering to further boost its hushed performance.

Adaptations in the 2007 version include the aspirated 4.4-liter V-8 produces 305 horsepower that produces 325 pounds-feet of torque. The supercharged version, on the other hand, uses a 4.2-liter V-8 that generates 400 horsepower that delivers 420 pounds-feet of torque. Both V-8 engines team with a ZF six-speed-automatic transmission. They are capable of generating far better power than the previous BMW Inline 6.

Rover used the latest advances in car technology to produce enhanced Rover Range Rover brakes, suspension, adaptive headlights, lattice-like grille, a tire-pressure monitor, and Terrain Response system. The latter includes a touchscreen that works with the navigation, audio and phone systems. Said touchscreen conveys off-road traffic information to the driver. Terrain Response system lets drivers dial in even when driving on snow and sand. Said system adjusts throttle, suspension, and brakes to accommodate the terrain. The supercharged version also utilizes an electronic rear differential. Further, the improved air suspension is fitted with an adjustable ride height.

Land Rover is famous for its unsurpassed off-road vehicle capabilities. These capabilities are matched with a brand new look that is brought about by its firmer monocoque body with integrated chassis. The car maker also focused on the modifications of power vents, wheels and lamps.

The SUV accommodates up to five occupants. Its posh interior is trimmed in luxurious leather and wood. The interior is also equipped with Three-zone automatic air conditioning, power seats, and nicely sized leather steering wheel. Backseat DVD entertainment, rearview camera and special stainless-steel pedals are incorporated in the supercharged version of the vehicle.

With regards to safety, 2007 Range Rover is given 8 standard airbags, antilock brakes and all-terrain Dynamic Stability Control to secure car occupants.

How much does a sound system for a 08 Range Rover Sport HSE cost?

I am 17 (almost 18 now), and for my birthday I got an 08 Range Rover Sport HSE. Now i want to add a system, basically I really want to put some subwoofers in it. I mean don't get me wrong, the car already has an amazing stock system in it, but i really want it to sound really nice. How much would it totally cost? and recommend some brands please.

Just subs, well integrated, tucked away, and upholstered properly to match the interior of such a nice vehicle, you can expect to pay someone 1500 bucks after all is said and done. Price of the gear, the custom box, the upholstery, and factory integration along with labor.

That is to do it properly, and their is absolutely no sense in doing otherwise in that vehicle. Of course, that is paying someone else to do everything.

Don't mess with the front stage, however. Not on that vehicle. If you want to even touch it, roll out ten grand. That's what it will take to start making improvements. Well, that, and a shop that really knows what they are doing, and there aren't so many of those around.

To match the subs to the factory system, I'd stick with two smaller subs over one larger one. Stay small and light on something like this.

Depending on what you want, it will be more or less for the subs. One driver, tucked away in the little driver side nook in the cargo area will be decidedly cheaper than two subs being integrated elsewhere.

There are others, but these will all be flat and clean in sound reproduction, compact, and easy to integrate.

Do NOT go and slap a couple of Rockfords in there. Wrong car for that. That factory system is better than most shops could dream of installing. I know, I've had to do it on modern Rovers. They come incredibly well equipped. It is an absolute miracle in the vehicle, because they are horribly shaped for sound reproduction, with seats far too close to speakers to get good sound without good processing, which Land Rover has already done for you.
