what is the correct procedure to set rear axle bearing preloadring on an 06 chev 3500?

it seems that the standard method of setting taper bearing preload should apply, but since the special tool is required i thought i should ask, thanks!

You need a tool to keep the yoke from turning.Also a torque multiplier to be able to tighten the nut enough to start the crush sleeve.And a pointer type torque wrench to measure rotational torque,and achieve 15-30 inch/lbs.
