Car noise near the front when come to a complete stop?

I just got a new brake pad and rotor, then it happen like that. There is a "kiiikk" noise near the front ONLY when I come to a complete stop. Wonder if that's anything wrong/associated with that brake or is it something new. It is a Corrolla 99. beside that, everything else seems fine, the mechanics also "recommended" 4 new struts. So maybe that is it??

Could be the calipers are loose. Did you say you got a new brake pad and rotor? What about the other side, did you do it also? You should always try to replace both sides at the same time.

Loose calipers will clunk when the brakes are applied and on other conditions, like maybe when turning a corner. Maybe the mechanic forgot to tighten it up, or something. Have it checked.
