How much should replacing pads & rotors cost on a 03 ford focus?

According to my mechanic I need front brake pads, front brake rotors and a labor item that reads "Replace front break pads, rotors, and flush the system". This is not a ford dealership, but a private (not a chain) shop. How much would you think all this would cost for a 03 focus zx5? I've never had any break work done on this car since I bought it (in 03).
I'm the one who can't spell (not the shop). The first four answers that came in are all below the estimate given to me. Guess I am being ripped off?
