For the V6 Toyotas made between 1992-2006,should I use premium,plus,or regular?

Here are the following V6 Toyotas made between 1992-2006:Camry(1992-2006),Avalon(1995-2006),Highlander(2001-2006),& Sienna(1998-2006).Although the owner's manual stated that you should use premium for optimum performance,it also states that you can use regular without any mechanical problem.Although premium is expensive,should I use plus or regular?

plus, but it really doesn't matter although regular is a little more unrefined and "dirty" compared to premium and plus.
