How do I title/license a home built trailer in MO?

Im having trouble finding info on how to go about this so any info on what I need to pass an inspection or costs or anything would be great.Its a single axle 5x8 trailer. Thanks, BF

In MO you need merely take your trailer to an official inspection station and they will look it over to make sure it's roadworthy. They will give you a document that must then be taken to the DMV. Don't forget your personal property tax receipt, and ID. When you license the trailer they won't ask for proof of insurance because a trailer is covered by the towing vehicle's insurance coverage.
