Dose anyone knows any brand of slotted brake rotors that are good and not that expensive?

I don't understand why a few slots in the rotor make the price go so high like Brembo Powerslot,Baer etc

A co-worker has the Powerslot rotors with Hawk pads on his 1990 mustang. He swears by them. He says he goes from 120 to 45 in no time at all with no brake faid and they still havnt warped yet.
