Here are some more information for Switch Mercedes:

You just get off from work and it's cold as all get out!
Snow is still coming down and blowing across the almost empty parking lot...
but you had to stay late to get the paychecks ready for tomorrow.
As you get into your Chrysler Cirrus, which you have loved since the day you bought it...last month.
You turn the ignition switch but nothing happens.
You try it again, still, 'nada'.
You turn the wipers on, nothing.
You reach for the headlights...
'Oh, no, you left the parking lights on all day.
Well, at least you can call Bill, the Security Guard, and he will help you.
Bill drives over in his Chevy truck and raises the hood, then raises the hood on your car.
He gets the jumper cables out and hooks them up to his truck's battery...
being careful not to let the other ends connect.
After a little you get out of the car and ask him what's wrong...
cause he's just standing there with a blank look on his face, staring at the engine.
"Where's th battery?" he asked.
"I don't know," you remark as you lean over the fender and commence to search for the battery.
The telephone starts ringing and Bill has to get back to his post.
You decide to call Joe at the shop...hoping he's still there.
Joe drives up in his wrecker and puts a jack under your car behind the left front tire.
"What are you doing, Joe? I don't have a flat...the battery is down!"
"I know, Sarah, but the battery is behind the splash guard, and I have to remove the tire to get to it."
Have you ever heard of such? But it's true.

Chicago Mercedes-Benz Dealer Feels Addition Of Electric Vehicles Is A Great Move For The Brand
There is still a lot of speculation and very little hard evidence of how electric vehicles will be welcomed into a newly green automotive industry – but it seems this is the direction most manufacturers are headed in the coming years, spurred by production models that automakers like Nissan and Chevrolet are getting ready to unveil this year. While the adoption of electric engine technology has existed mostly in cars manufactured by mid-range brands, the luxury market has definitely hopped aboard the fuel efficiency train. After all, to stay competitive you can't continue creating the same old stodgy vehicles, regardless of how competitive they were a few years ago.
Now, your Chicago Mercedes-Benz dealer is preparing for the launch of a line of electric vehicles in a big way. While we don't have many details on the actual models, moves by Daimler to bring zero emission vehicles to its brands and to the luxury market as a whole have made it pretty clear that the company is about ready to announce new electric cars. Batavia Mercedes-Benz drivers are bracing themselves for a new revolution in the luxury automotive segment, one that will manifest itself under both Mercedes Benz and Smart labels.
According to several reports, Daimler AG research and development chief Dr. Thomas Weber is enacting measures to make sure the entire company (including Chicago Mercedes dealers) are ready for the prospective switch to electric engine technology. This year, we'll have a chance to see the first 1,000 electric Smarts, but it might be a few more years before the electric technology reaches the Mercedes brand. Still, it's exciting to know that Mercedes is taking steps in the right direction, and the prospect of the brand to ramp up electric vehicle production in the coming years should be exciting for Batavia Mercedes-Benz drivers.
An event at the University of Duisburg-Essen's Center for Automotive Research saw Dr. Weber calling service personnel to become familiar with high voltage power systems in battery and fuel cell vehicles. For your Chicago Mercedes-Benz dealer, that indicates that the luxury manufacturer has some fuel efficient electric technology on its way down the pipeline – which will serve as exciting news for Chicago Mercedes drivers. He also mentioned that, in addition to the drive systems, Mercedes electric vehicles will get a range of new systems like electric climate control and charging that service departments will have to compete with.
The preparedness likely from the recent announcement should help put the company in the right position to accept these new technological advancements when they're ready to be unveiled. Let's hope they're right, as we have recently seen what can happen to unprepared manufacturers. The recent Prius crisis is indicative of the disasters that can occur when your company is not familiar enough with its new technologies. Toyota might have to take a page out of Mercedes' book after the effects of the recall have worn off, which might not be for several years as far as we can tell.
