After two intense days with planetary challenges of high emotions purging us from hidden, unconscious patterns of behavior, we are now ready to step into a more relaxed time. Maybe we find peace in nature or enjoy life’s sensual delights. I just had a bath and signed up for a message today.

The unfolding growth in the zodiac is going through opposing motions challenging the status quo and then a period of integration and refinement, like with the transformation of Pluto followed by the expansion of Sagittarius; or the contraction and consolidation of Capricorn followed by changes and rebellion with Aquarius.

After the fiery, blazing emotions of the Moon in Aries we are now allowed to relax into the practical arms of Taurus.

At this time of the year the Northern Hemisphere is free of its winter snows and it is time to attend to caring for the Earth and planting crops. The sign of Taurus is ruled by Venus and is considered a feminine earth sign.

Taurus people are very much in tune with the Earth. Due to the influence of Venus, they have a great love for beauty found in things such as art, jewelry, and the natural landscape. Is Taurus Mercury great for public speaking?

Because I have Taurus Mercury and I excel at public speaking. Also, I'm majoring Communcation where I have to be very vocal and be really assertive with my voice.

But I have Pluto in the 3rd house. So, I'm supposed to be reserved with my voice. But I'm not. So what gives?
Plus, does Taurus being rule by the voice and throat have any relevancy?

Well, any time that a persons mercury is the same sign as their sun, and the two aspects are conjunct (as yours are), that indicates a 'oneness' in thought and mind. That would make it easy for you to come to terms with your thoughts, and express them easily. Being Venus ruled in both aspects can make you more eloquent. And yes, Taurus rules the voice and throat, so that certainly helps.

Your moon and rising would be extremely important for this, because alot of time, when we are standing in front of a crowd, we can become nervous, and your moon states alot about how you react under pressure...My moon is in Leo for example, and I always that stage fright was more embarassing than messing up...so public speaking has never been particularly difficult for me...just an example.

But, opposition, although it's generally described as a 'negative' aspect, that only means 'negative' because the flow of energies are not 'smooth'...in public speaking, especially motivational or persuasive, your opposition with mercury will help you, because it can give you an edge...the trines probably help balance that edge, to where you seem confident instead of abrasive.

*Your Leo rising get's you noticed. The key topublic speaking is keeping the audiences attention, and you shouldn't have a problem with that...further more you have good aspects to back yourself...but honestly, I don't see an exact correlation with the Cancer...accept under pressure they are good at putting a 'shell'...if you mess up, you are probably good at pretending it didn't happen.
