I have a 86 toyo truck w/22r carb engine. It feels like its mis firing at 55 to 60mph and when letting off gas

Also engine idles fine and problem does not happen when accelerating.Also this misfire or lack of fire or gas what ever it is sometimes is very hard and sometime almost not detectable.

i had a 83 model last year that i traded for,it did the same thing i wound up re-building the carburetor on it,the accelerator pump inside the carb was going bad,and it would set and idle pretty good,but would miss-fire on hills and in hard climbs,after fixing it it never did give any more problems,those are good little trucks and last a long time,and the 22r is an excellent engine,also on that one be sure and keep an eye on the timing ,mine got out of time and ran real bad for a while,they have to be right or they wont run right,good luck on it.
